Hand Painted pieces of fossils found in the Peace River in Southwest Florida.

What we found: We have collected Shark's Teeth, Sting Ray Barbs and Teeth and even found a Whale's Earbone, as well as the occasional well worn rib or long bone on the beaches and underwater in the Fossil Beds around Venice, Florida. The Creation Studies Institute (CSI) introduced us to the wealth of Fossils in the Peace River. We haven't found a Mammoth (like CSI has), we haven't even found anything important or rare like a Saber-Toothed Cat skull. We have found beautiful pieces of rib and long bones, turtle shell pieces, glyptdon shell and even Indian beads. Nancy is using this natural "canvas" for her most recent paintings, and we are happy to make them available to you!

The Art: The "canvases" for these pictures are the very bones of the animals preserved by the flood described in Genesis. Smooth rib and long bones can be drilled for a necklace, shaped for a belt buckle or left natural and displayed on a stand or in a "shadowbox" frame. Small bone and shark teeth make unique tie tacks and earrings. Don't feel that you're stuck with mammoths and manatees painted on your fossils, ask Nancy what she will paint for you, it may not be something she'll do, but you can ask! We will also make available the Deerhorn jewelry and EarWings described elsewhere, and don't forget Christmas! For that perfect gift or "different" tree ornament, ask about Nancy's Florida Christmas ornaments. She uses the good old-fashioned glass ornaments, gives them a base color and then dabs them with more layers of color. Then small treasures from the beaches of Southwest Florida are glued on, unique pieces of seaweed from Sarasota; tiny Shark's teeth from Venice and occasionally beautiful shells from Sanibel may find a special place on your next Christmas tree. Obviously each ornament is individual and hand painted, multiple layers of acrylic urethane protect each one. We've seen these ornaments bounce on sidewalks and heard of them being shipped to Oregon during our art show days, they're not unbreakable, but they are more sturdy than you think.

For a picture listing of what's currently available, or to ask about special requests, color combinations or any of Nancy's art, drop us an e-mail and we'll respond as soon as we get around to it (I can't say how often we check the e-mail, sometimes we're so busy we can only check it once in a week) we can promise you will get a response.

Here are some other neat websites. If you are having difficulties deciding between Creation and "Evil"ution, these websites are here to help and can probably explain things better than we can. Give them a look, and decide if you were created as an intelligent being in God's own image, or if you are a chance of billions of years of mistakes from the goo through the zoo to you. And what is SkyAngel anyway?
